Kampung Pulo Asri Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Pinang Ranti, Makasar, East Jakarta has 50 types of medicinal plants. Local residents are allowed to pick some of the plants for medication.

"For example we have cat whiskers plant, holly-leaved acanthus, Madagascar periwinkle, red ginger, Dayak onion, butterfly pea, okra, moringa, bay leaf, and others," she mentioned, Friday (4/26).
According to her, most popular medicinal plants between the locals is butterfly pea and bay leaf.
"Locals usually use butterfly pea as herbal eye medication for toddlers while bay leaves are used as cooking ingredients," she explained.
